In animal cells cytokinesis occurs when a cleavage furrow(a groove in the cell surface) forms around the cell. This furrow narrows the cell across the centre and eventually pinches it into two new cells.
In plant cells a cleavage furrow does not form. Instead a cell plate forms across the equator of the cell. The cell plate consists of small vesicles which fuse to form two membranes across the cell. The new membranes fuse with the existing cell membranes and a new cell wall forms between them.
two new daughter cells are formed
Plant cells form a cell plate between the two new nuclei during cytokinesis. The cell plate form the cell walls for the two new plant cells. The cell plate formation takes place in plant cells during cytokinesis from the material received from Golgi bodies.
By quite a bit. In animal cells the cleavage furrow is formed as if a purse string was being drawn tight and pinching the cell in half to form two daughter cells. Microtubules are used to preform cytokenesis in animal cells. In plant cells vesicles form along the cytokenetic line and then are brought together to form a cell wall between what will become the daughter cells.
The basic process is the same, but yes - there are differences.
It's called cytokinesis. Cytokinesis occurs after the last stage of mitosis which is telophase (nucleus reforms, spindle fiber go away). Cytokinesis is different between plant and animal cells. In plant cells, the cells creates a cell wall through the cytoplasm and between the nuclei, splitting the "mother cell" into two "daughter cells. In animal cells, the cell begins to furrow in the middle and splits off into two. Without cytokinesis, complete cell division cannot occur. If cytokinesis does not occur and only mitosis occurs in the cell, the cell will become cancerous and hazardous to the organism that it is a part of.

Cytokinesis happens at the cell plate in the plant cell It happens at the ceavage furrow in the animal cell.... The only similarity is that it is the microtubules shortening and tightning until itll eventually pinch the mother cell into two identical daughter cells
Cells that do not undergo cytokinesis will have multiple nuclei, while cells that do undergo cytokinesis will have only one nucleus.
Animal cells!
The major in cell division (cytokinesis) in plant and animal cells is in plant cells, meiosis is only undergone from a spore to a sporophyte (from 2n to n) whereas in the animal cells, meiosis splits the sex cells into 4 new cells.
In animal cells, centrioles self replicate, plant cells do not have centrioles Animal cells form asters, plant cells do not Cytokinesis is done by cleavage furrowing in animal cells while plant cells form a cell plate
