a Fruit or Vegetable battery is an experiment used in many science textbooks around the world, to offer students a basic insight into chemistry and physics.
It`s made by two different metal objects, for example galvanized nail (zinc coated) and a copper wire, into a lemon (or example). The copper wire acts like the positive end of a battery (cathode) and the galvanized nail acts as the negative end of a battery (anode). These act as electrodes, causing an electro chemical reaction which generates a small electrical charge. The aim of this experiment is to show how batteries work. After the battery is put together a voltage meter can be used to check the generated voltage.
No silly fruits and vegetables are for eating.
Actually potatoes can be used as batteries but am not sure how to properly set it up to to be wired.
Also gatorade can be used but again not sure how the wiring would go.
A lemon is a fruit . Right? Well the more sour a fruit is the more acid it has. And in a fruit powered battery the acid turns into these things called ions which power the battery. But so far i don't know how vegetables power a battery.

A potato.
Just stick a copper wire in one side and a zinc wire in the other side. There will be a small amount of current flowing when the wires are connected.
It (they) doesn't.
Since those juices contain electrolytes (salts), they can conduct electricity.
Fruit juice has more vitamin C than vegetable juice.
The water inside the fruit or the vegetable, makes it conduct electricity.
because it is used as a veggie but is a fruit>
potato well as a vegetable
What fruit or vegetable will produce the most electricity
Coconuts aren't fruits or vegetables they are seeds. Hope this helps.
