Global warming refers to the rise in the global temperature due to the Greenhouse Effect. Global warming effects Antarctica's marine life by raising the temperature of the water, so that a lot of the fish are dying.

warming makes the ice melt earlier in the year, more rapidly and further than before, so that Polarbears (for example) cant walk on it safely to get to their instinive hunting grounds

so they suffer the most.

Krill (tiny crustaceans) and their food algae are at the bottom of the Antarctic food chain. Ocean warming and ocean acidification are reducing krill numbers.

Larger mammals such as whales, penguins and seals need krill either directly or indirectly through the food chain. In winters with shorter and smaller sea-ice coverage, krill reproduction is much reduced. Carbon dioxide in the ocean is turning the water more acidic making it more difficult for krill to form their shells.

Phytoplankton (algae) grow under the ice shelves of Antarctica. Warmer water is affecting the growth of phytoplanktons. Krill (zooplankton) need them to survive. These two are vital links in the food chain of the Antarctic. Whales live on krill. Penguins need krill and the fish that feed on krill. Seals and sea birds need the fish. Climate change is damaging the food chain in Antarctica and threatening the lives of the animals there.

What is worst global warming or global cooling and why?

If global cooling means the gradual cooling into an Ice Age, then that has happened in the past and it has taken thousands of years to happen. The present global warming has all happened far faster, in less than 200 years, and is threatening all life on the planet if we can't stop it. Global warming is by far the more dangerous situation.

Should you be concerned about global warming in Antarctica?

You should be concerned about global warming everywhere. The Arctic will probably show earlier signs of warming than the Antarctic, which is the coldest place on earth. Parts of West Antarctic are melting, but not much is happening in the East, where the ice cap is more than two kilometers thick.
