The Earth's rotation on its axis is not directly affected by gravity except that gravity holds Earth together as a sphere.

Earth's revolution round the Sun is an "orbit" which obeys the laws of gravity.

There is also a slight transfer of the rotational energy of the Sun to Earth's revolution speed. The Sun's spin is slowing and Earth is moving away form the Sun a little. {Note, this effect is far more pronounced between the Earth and the Moon].
