in todays economical status, it takes 2 to work. lets say the wife makes $10 hr and her husband makea $20, they have 3 kids. if the husband killed himelf, the wife is not able to do it all financially herself. therefore the house gets repo'd, the car etc. the bank looses money which reflects back on the economy. if the wife gets help from welfare that is just one case among millions that have a like scenario. seattle has a high suicide rate, depression rate and alzheimers rate. they are trying to link depression and alzheimers.
