When you compare a CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) bulb to an LED bulb, the CFL bulb has a shorter lifespan. The CFL bulb also uses more electricity for the same brightness

Also a CFL lasts longer and uses less electricity (for the same brightness) than an incandescent bulb.
