Best Answer

Literature can reflect politics by describing the public policies placed into effect by people, persons, or society. It can also speak about the same issues as a set of policies that a writer wishes to see placed into action for a small or large political body. Literature in the form of a decree or a law reflects the public policies of a society or a person placed seen in the form of a "document". The US Constitution, for example, is a document reflecting the public policies and rule of law in the United States.

In fictional writing, the parameters by which a subject is described can be created to reflect politics. The novel of The Fountainhead is a novel that makes a political statement.

A nonfictional document such as the Communist Manifesto, describes Marx's ideas about past, present and future political events.
