Marble
The marble from the Parthenon came from a local mountain near Athens.
The noblest: marble.
They are reliefs cut out of blocks of marble in the 430s BC.
Marble has been used as a building material since ancient times. See buildings like the Parthenon in Athens, Greece for evidence. Marble is expensive, so it is mainly used as a surface treatment in today's construction. Over long periods of time, certain stones are more vulnerable to erosion than others: marble is softer than granite, but harder and more resilient than limestone.
Hi there, off memory I believe the 'carved marble headstones' were called stelai. We have created some bespoke headstones based on ancient greek designs.
Roughly like an appaloosa horse with marble markings

The arch of Titus is not a material, it is an arch. It was built in 82 AD by Domitian to commemorate Titus' Siege of Jerusalem. It was made of pentelic marble, a type of marble extracted at the Penteli Mountain near Athens.
