answ2. Fungi grow vegetatively by filaments called hyphae, which like some roots, enable new growths to appear along them.

A fruiting body of a fungus will cast minute spores, which may travel widely on wind.

If you lay a mushroom flat side down on a piece of white paper, overnight it will produce a pattern composed of the spores.

Mold just crawls anywhere moist. Therefore, you should watch for moist and humid places inside your home. Examples would be walls, floors, appliances (yes, sometimes), carpet, and furniture.

The things mentioned can provide the nourishment mold needs to grow. But moisture is what mold needs most, so you’re most likely to see mold in damp places such as:

Bathrooms

Kitchens

Laundry rooms

Basements

Crawl spaces

Closets

Doing it yourself is not recommended. At ServiceMaster by PWF, our experts have completed intensive mold remediation training as well as detailed instruction in the proper procedures for handling mold claims.

We will provide a report specially designed for you. Call us at (866) 599-0871 today!
