well you don't get closer you get a little bit farther away. but it depends on where you move to. like me i moved to south America and so my friendship with my best friend is not quite as strong as it was. and i miss her soooooo much. anyway if you are closer and you can visit them then it should stay the same. if its far like me try as much as you can to keep in contact. because i am getting farther and farther away every day. little by little.
