The way to become a prophet is not easy. You'll have to give your soul to God. As in pray for Long hours, remember him all the time and not forgetting him for a second. If you really want to meet the Lord with all your heart, your half way there. But if you want to become a prophet for the power or in anther case want followers and to become famous. Don't even try. So just have love for God, never forget him and dont SIN. But you'll have to do this for a long time till you get there.

∙ 11y agoTo become of prophet is not just a case of knowing well the scriptures or being kind and generous. It is not through any desire on your part or by the laying on of hands by some minister stating that you are now a prophet. A true prophet is a person who is called of God through administering angels, given the holy priesthood and set apart as such. He will no doubt have been foreordained in the preexistence to become a prophet. This however is only when the person lives an exemplary life, accepts Christ as his savior and God as the creator of all things. Remember that even as a prophet they will not always be prophets, but only when required to be so though they hold the holy calling as a prophet, seer and revelator.
Many false prophets are upon the earth, these will oft times lead men astray as they do not have the Holy Spirit to guide and direct them. Having a desire is noble, but only God will choose whom He will call.
