first you buy a pretzel shape device then after you do that you take a bowl put flower in it then one tbs of salt and put two eggs then mix the whole thing up , then take the pretzels shape device and shape the dough in pretzel form, then put the dough on a baking pan sheet and put it in the oven for 5 hours and when the pretzel is done sprinkle some salt on each on, let it sit there for 2 or 3 or maybe more minutes ,then when that's done you could enjoy a delicous mouth watering pretzel , put some dipping sauce to make it sweet if you like . and that's how one makes pretzel.
Because that is the way people make pretzels.
Yes!
Pretzels are made with yeast dough. Cake yeast could be substituted for dry yeast, or one might make a "sponge" or sour dough starter which uses wild yeasts from the air. But some sort of yeast must be used in order to make actual pretzels.
One may make their own pretzels by combining 1 tablespoons of sugar, 2 1/2 teaspoons of dried active yeast, 3-4 cups of all purpose flour and 1 large egg mix together, roll out in to shaped pretzels on a greased baking tray and then baking at 425 for approximately 12 minutes. Once the pretzels have been left to cool one may simply cover them or dip them in melted white chocolate.
There are two kinds of pretzels, one is hard and one is soft. Hard one is covered in some salt and the soft one is like bread.
yes you can
"1 cup is equal to 8 ounces, so 20 ounces of pretzels equals 2 1/2 cups. " This really doesn't make sense to me because the question seems to me mix measurements one refers to weight and one to volume so 1 cup volume would not necessarily equal 8 Oz. by weight, which is what I am looking to find out. I have a recipe that referes to 10 cups of regular size pretzels...so is that an average bag of pretzels or more....
The number of pretzels in one serving can vary depending on the type and brand. Generally, a standard serving size for regular pretzels is about 1 ounce, which typically translates to around 15 to 20 pretzels. Always check the nutrition label for specific serving sizes as they can differ based on the product.
