Someone that wants to overcome the lock on a computer keypad can do so by pressing the number lock or Caps lock on the keyboard. If one does not want the numbered keypad to work then one can disable or enable the feature by simply clicking on the Mum Lock button.

Usually if it can lock, that means the linkage is ok. If you have serrate buttons,then the open button is bad. If one button does both it could be the receiver. Have a mechanic shop or the dealer take a look at it.

If you are able to unlock the doors but not lock them I would suspect the " door lock " relay located in the jack storage compartment . There are relays for door unlock / door lock / interior lamps / driver door unlock / and trailer park lamps in the relay box. The door lock relay is one of the larger relays , located in the bottom left position ( looking at the picture ) good luck !
