As all other mammals do. Copulation occurs at the peak of fertility, and during this time the pair will spend most of their time together and in seclusion. During mating, the pair is locked into a copulatory tie which lasts for 5-36 minutes. Once pregnancy occurs the female will bear a litter of 5-6 pups within the gestation period of 62-75 days. Mated pairs will remain together for life and unlike dogs or other canine species, the male wolf will NOT abandon his mate to copulate with another. Their bond is forever.

Wolves are mammals who reproduce by having a female wolf mate with a male wolf. The sperm from the male wolf fertilizes an egg inside the female wolf. The female can have a litter of up to 6 pups.
The male wolf waits till the female is in heat. When the time is right, the alpha male will choose its mate if there is more than one female in the pack. The rest from there is in a way similar to how a human mates.
Wolves are ready to mate when they reach two years old. Only the male and female leaders of the pack mate.
Arctic wolves live in the tundra. They reproduce every 7 months. They can have up to 2 babies at a time.
