I think it is the 'Right Whale' which is a species of large Baleen Whales
Southern Right whales eat 400kg of food a day.It eats krill and plankton.
whales suck in their food
Polar waters at tidal boundaries This is where the whales get most of their food.
No. Baleen whales and Right whales are both different types.
Right whales are called "right" whales because thy were considered the "right whales to hunt" - they are slow moving and float once killed. This is one reason why they were nearly wiped out. Now days the biggest threat to Right Whales is large ships. Ships often hit the slow moving whales which causes massive internal injuries. Northern Right Whales are far more endangered than Southern Right Whales because there are more shipping lanes in the Northern Oceans.
no Right Whales eat small little fish
What Killer Whales do the most, like pretty much every other wild species, is they search for food! Killer Whales spend the majority of their lives on a world-wide quest for food. After hundreds of thousands of years, the whales have learned the oceans from top to bottom. They know exactly where the food they seek is and exactly when that food will be there. However, the schools of fish that they seek are constantly moving. Because of this the whales must move with them and this can mean thousands of miles to swim! Of course, there is time along the way to play and to breed- but for the most part- the whales must constantly move from place to place looking for food.
The southern right whales were the right whales to kill because they were slower swimmers and had alot of blubber with could be sold for money. Hope this helps.
Most whales do not eat fish, they feed on plankton and krill. The ones that do eat fish do it for the same reason that we do, for food.
North Pacific Right Whale, North Atlantic Right Whale, Blue Whale What he/she means is that the whales in the North Pacific and North Atlantic and the blue whales are endangered because either they can't find enough food, or they are being illegally hunted.
