Small organizations perform both sales and marketing task. But both are differ from each other, as per the growth of organisation, rules and regulations become more specialized.
There are following differences as follows:
1) Marketing is a broader range to sell products/services, client relationship etc. It determine the future needs and fulfil it for the long term relationship where as in sales customers demand match the product the company offers.
2) Marketing is the discipline of positioning and branding a product so that is appealing to a specific target audience. For example, marketing would involve things like:
