God created mankind for Himself. Mankind was to love God and enjoy Him for ever. But man sinned in the Garden of Eden and every person born from that day forth has been born spiritually dead and are in a sinful state. And this sin separated them from God. This separation from God caused more and more sin. Mankind through out the centuries have died in their sin and according to The Bible will spend an eternity in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-15). This is how sin will destroy you.

But God looked down from heaven and had pity on man and in His mercy and love sent His Son, Jesus Christ to earth to die the perfect sinless sacrifice for man's sin

(John 3:16). But this sacrifice on the cross by Jesus Christ is not automatically applied to you. You have to have a personal Savior, which is Jesus Christ. You have to come to Jesus and accept Him as your Savior. Jesus Christ is the only way to God the father (John 14:6). If you do not accept Jesus, sin has destroyed you.

Why doesn't mankind destroy himself to defeat sin?

The question involves a contradiction, and thus mankind can not destroy itself to defeat sin. Since sucide and mass murder, implied in the question, are arguable the greatest of all sins, it is impossible to defeat sin by committing the greatest of all sins. Far better is it to try to live a blameless life, and to accept and not judge others.

What does sin do to ourselves and to the body of Christ?

Sin is a destroyer. If a person sins habitually and is a Christian God will take that person out of the lives of other Christians, sometimes by an early death. Sin will destroy the local church, which is part of the Body of Christ. Many Christ believing Churches have gone under because of sin in the membership. An occasional sin if confessed will be forgiven by God as all persons sin, even Christians, but Christians are strongly encouraged to repent of their occasional sins and confess them to God. If Christians do this the Body of Christ is healed. See I John 1:9.)

How do you prove this trigonometric relationship sin3A equals 3sinA cos 2 A - sin 3 A?

sin(3A) = sin(2A + A) = sin(2A)*cos(A) + cos(2A)*sin(A)= sin(A+A)*cos(A) + cos(A+A)*sin(A) = 2*sin(A)*cos(A)*cos(A) + {cos^2(A) - sin^2(A)}*sin(A) = 2*sin(A)*cos^2(A) + sin(a)*cos^2(A) - sin^3(A) = 3*sin(A)*cos^2(A) - sin^3(A)
