out of the 3 legendary god cards the best is obelisk because no matter what it gains 4000 atk points and it cannot be target by effect , trap or spells the second best is Ra because u can give some of ur life point to destroy 1 random monster on the field slifer is a strong monster but it only gain 1000 attack point for each card in hand.but all of them are illegal i think the legendary knights are better than these gods

depends on how you put together your deck or who your opponent is. if you have dark types in your deck,graveyard,and field, then i suggest rainbow dark dragon but you will not gain as much attack as rainbow dragon.although rainbow dragon gives you a lot of attack, there is not as much cards available to gain the attack and..... its complicated so ill just get to the point, they are the same if you have a regular deck that is not focused on certain monsters so like i said, depends on how you put your deck together.

They already have made all three Egyptian god cards legal in the game. I managed to get Slifer out of the Yu-Gi-Oh dark side of dimensions booster pack. I'm not sure if you can get Obelisk and Ra from the same pack. I know that you can get all 3 in the new legendary decks 2.

No, the effect to increase his attack points is an optional trigger triggered by his summon. So once he's successfully summoned, you have to activate that effect immediately, or you miss your chance to use it. So if you choose not to use it then, or activate his ignition effect instead, then you've missed your chance to use the attack gaining trigger.
