Prophase, or the first stage in mitosis, involves the condensing of chromatin and formation of mitotic spindles. Prometaphase, the second stage of mitosis, involves the appearance of discrete chromosomes. fragmentation of the nuclear envelope, and attachment of spindles to the chromosomes. These stages overlap in that some of these events may occur before others. For example, the nuclear envelope may desolve before the spindles fully attach to the chromosomes.

The second stage of the mitotic phase, called metaphase, overlaps with the first stage, called prophase, in terms of time. This means that while one cell is going through metaphase, another cell in the same population may be in prophase. However, the events that occur in these two stages are distinct. In prophase, chromosomes condense and the nuclear envelope breaks down, while in metaphase, the condensed chromosomes align at the center of the cell.

What is the relationship between phase and line voltage in a 3 phase generator?

The Voltage produced by the generator will be like 3 sets of your home's voltage (assuming we're looking at an outlet and not the 220V at the brkr box). Each phase (sinusoidal wave) will be separated by 120 degrees, so when the 1st phase starts the 2nd phase will start 1/20th of a second later. The 3rd phase then starts 1/40th of a second later, and the 1st phase starts again 1/60th of a second later which is the beginning of the second set of sin waves. This of course is based on the N. American Frequency of 60 hertz which is 60 cycles (waves) per second.AnswerFor a three-phase, three-wire, system the line voltages will be identical to the phase voltages. For a three-phase, four-wire, system the line voltages will be 1.732 times the value of the phase voltages.

During which phase of the cell cycle do chromatids form?

When a single chromosome is replicated, two sister chromatids are produced. After cell division, each of the chromatids is a chromosome for the daughter cell.

How does reproduction of a unicellular occur?

the cell splits evenly in half in 5 stages in the 1st stage the cell grows and the chromosomes double, in the 2nd stage the nucleus disappears, In the 3rd stage the chromosomes line up in the middle, in the 4th stage the chromosomes and organelles are split evenly and the cells begin to separate, in in 5th stage, 2 identical cells split apart and become 2 separate cells

What is the name of the semi circle moon phase?

The semi-circle shape can be the 1st or 3rd quarter. Perhaps you would want to double check, but I believe that if the "flat" side of the shape is facing to the left, that is the 1st quarter; to the right - 3rd quarter.

How long does it take the moon to change from the new moon phase to the 1st quarter phase?

A full cycle is about 29.5 days, so a quarter cycle will be 1/4 of this, on average (divide 29.5 by 4). This is just an average; since the Moon's orbit is not a perfect circle, it may vary a bit.

Why is it desirable to have a two-speed compressor?

The major difference between a 2-stage heat pump and single stage is the run time on 1st stage, especially for the a/c. On 1st stage, the compressor can put out 1/2 to 2/3 of its rated capacity and is more efficient producing btu's than when running full out on 2nd stage. The more the system runs on 1st stage, the lower the operating costs

The S-Phase - S for DNA synthesis. Less specifically, it is part of Interphase where the cell spends approximately 90% of its life.
