The Book of Wisdom, or Wisdom of Solomon, is one of the deuterocanonical books of the Catholic Bible. The Catholic New American Bible says it was written about one hundred years before Christ, by an anonymous author. At times he speaks in the person of Solomon, placing his teachings on the lips of the wise king of Hebrew tradition in order to emphasise their value. His profound knowledge of the earlier Old Testament writings is reflected in almost every line of the book, and marks him, like Ben Sira, as an outstanding representative of religious devotion and learning among the sages of postexilic Judaism. The book is thought to have been influenced by Middle Platonism and Stoicism.

Despite the above description of the Book of Wisdom's worldly origins, the Catholic Encyclopedia sees it as in some way connected to the revelation of the Holy Trinity.

What does divine revelation mean?

The Bible IS "Divine Revelation" -- God's Words [nourishing Spiritual Bread that proceeded out of His mouth - Matt.4:4] inspired by God through His servants, to feed His servants."All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in Righteousness: that the man of God may be [become] Perfect, throughly [thoroughly] furnished unto all good works." (II Tim.3:16-17)It's the "Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding" of God not otherwise perceived through the "five physical senses" of man; which is the "physical data" he naturally receives, processes, collates and stores in his mind.God has to "open a human mind and heart" to the "Truth" of the Bible. The natural carnal mind of man cannot receive it by himself."The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom: and the Knowledge of the Holy [One; provided by the Bible] is Understanding." (Prov.9:10)There are "two kinds of wisdom"... the Wisdom of God [Divine Revelation] and "the wisdom of this world" -- the easily deceived faulty reasoning of man."There is a way [the wisdom of this world] which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Prov.14:12)"...Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the Wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe." (I Cor.1:20-21)"Divine Revelation" is the "Truth of God" [the Bible - John 17:17]... that is written for His servants whom he is calling "out of this world.""The Revelation of Jesus Christ... to SHEW UNTO HIS SERVANTS things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by His angel... Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the Words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." (Rev.1:1-3)Divine Revelation is the Word of God telling man His plan for the future:"He that overcometh shall inherit all things [the UNIVERSE]; and I will be his God, and HE SHALL BE MY SON." (Rev.21:7)
