It is a very high quality pistol. Made in Belgium, parts like magazines can be spendy. Mine shoots very well, but there isn't a provision for mounting optics, and they are collectible, so don't drill and tap it. If you are into competition a better alternative (and cheaper) would be to keep an eye out for the Russian made IZH-35m. The Browning is probably the most beautiful gun I own. The IZH will outshoot it though....
FN

Supply and demand at work.
Go to http://www.fnhusa.com/ it is a yes/no answer.
Neither.
Depending on the model and age, different places. All are marked as to where made.
It is possible. In addition to a serial number having been removed, the Browning plant in Belgium was taken over by the Nazis in WW II, and produced Browning pistols for the German military. While they were SUPPOSED to have serial numbers, things are not always done correctly during a war.
There are many models that were made.i would go to the browning web site were you can find all the models made by name.
One of the best references is "Browning Sporting Arms of Distinction 1903-1992" by Matt Eastman.
I believe that Browning makes these themselves, since they are produced in Salt Lake City,Utah.
The current Browning Buck Mark 22 LR pistols ( 2008 ) are built in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The 9w doesnt compute. Check again and access the link below for Nomad pistols on the Browning website
