The Little Boy is estimated to have a yield between 13 kilotons and 15 kilotons. The largest yield device ever tested, the USSR's Tsar Bomba is estimated to have a yield between 52 megatons and 58 megatons.

Doing a little arithmetic, the Tsar Bomba is roughly equivalent to between 3500 and 4500 Little Boy bombs. However that many Little Boy bombs would do far more damage than one Tsar Bomba as the Little Boys can be spread out to not significantly overlap and the Tsar Bomba concentrates it damage in one area.

The largest physical device ever tested, the US's Ivy Mike shot had a yield of only 10 megatons. It, including its hydrogen liquefaction plant, occupied a significant part of the island of Eugelab in the Eniwetok Atoll.
