no cap, there is only a cap on over flow coolant tank. to add coolant add to tank make sure it is at the right level when cold.
in the over flow tank

You can find a water flow cooling diagram for a 2002 Chevy Malibu in the car's owner's manual. You can also check with local auto part stores.
Fill the over flow tank to where it should be and just run the engine as usual. The system bleeds itself, Just check the over flow tank to make sure there is enough coolant in it.
In the exhaust pipe, right next to the engine.

No. There is no coolant flow valve.
It is in the bottom of the over flow tank.
It goes in through the lower radiator hose, and out through the upper.
