there isn't one there is a hotstart lever "clutch side trigger finger" the hotstart lever is for when the bike is warm. pull it in and it gives the carb. more air, leans it out. it has a built in decompression system on the cam, when the bike is not running it is being decompressed.
I can't find any indication that they made a 30-06 lever action. I can't find any indication that they made a 30-06 lever action.
SAMMI shows that the 06 can operate at higher pressures
Yes. The Browning BLR series lever actions are available in .30-06, as well as the .30-06-derived .270 Winchester. They are fed from a detachable box magazine, rather than the 'traditional' tubular magazine, given the shape of the 'spitzer' projectile used in dedicated rifle cartridges such as the .30-06 versus the rounded shape of 'traditional' lever gun rounds like the .30-30, .45 Long Colt, etc.
I was riding with a friend whose ATV had a speedometer, it was topped out at its max (60 or so), we were going quite a bit faster than that, about 70 mph I would guess (and this was not fully pinned, we were on trails). The newer models probably top out between 70 and 80mph. I have an 06 model.
move the safety lever and hold trigger back as you remove bolt
There is one being sold online here in Idaho for $827 . (2/15/13)
It's a press-fit onto the lever. Generally it takes so much force to pull/twist it off the lever that the mechanism lower down holding the lever in place will break before you pull/twist hard enough to remove the knob. To remove it to replace it with a different knob, use a hack-saw, and cut it in half, taking care not to cut the lever or other items.
There should be a little slide lever next to the clip on the bottom of the rifle. either push in or push forward and the clip will release.
Made in 2006. If it's NIB, never had the action cycled and complete with all papers, you are in the 700 USD range.
Make sure it is unloaded. Then lift the bolt handle and slide it to the rear. There is a small lever on the rear left of the gun, pull this outward from the front. With it pulled out finish sliding the bolt out of the action.
To remove the bolt, you should have done the following: Looking from back to front, on the left side (oposite of the bolt handle) is a small lever called a Bolt Stop Lever where the stock meets the left rear of the barrel. This lever should be in down position normally. Pull the lever up to the 1 o'clock position and do not force it up past the 1 o'clock positon. Slowly pull the bolt out. You are done. To put it back, line the bolt up the same way you pulled it out and slowly slide it back in. Push the Bolt Stop Lever down to the stock after it is half way in. Always be safe when handling firearms. Good luck!!!
