It creates a soft-serve ice cream shake. Half and half cream is mixed with the powdered flavor. Crushed ice is added to the blue bowl with a teaspoon of salt and some water. The mixed cream and powder goes into the middle of the blue bowl and then spun for 10 minutes. The plunger and spinner spin the ice cream out, and various crushed ingredients are added.
A slightly different procedure:
1. fill bowl up to the line with crushed ice and 1/3 teaspoon salt
2. add cooled water up to the line
3. make sure blue cup is over metal thing in the middle
4. in separate container, combine half & half (3/4) and 1 packet of vanilla mix and blend
5. take out cup and place white lid on
6. add cream mixer ion metal thing
7. Attach the paddle, mix for 10 minutes, and serve
