Unlike the nervous system, the affects of the endocrine systems control is slower, but has a longer-lasting influence in the body. It utilizes the use of hormones that are secreted directly into the blood from ductless glands. This is the main way the body regulates metabolism, reproduction, growth and development, maintains fluid and electrolyte, acid-base, and energy balances.
Communication between endocrine organs and the nature and function of the various hormones which they secrete to regulate various processes in the human body.
chemical messengers
The Nervous System and the Endocrine System form the body's two communication systems.
endocrine (slow chemical messages, transported in the blood) or nervous (extremley fast electical messages transported via neurones)
The reproductive and endocrine systems both regulate the functions of the body. They rely on communication between cells to send and receive messages.
The endocrine and excretory systems work together.
The nervous system and endocrine system work very much hand in hand.
the endocrine and the nervous systems work together to maintain homeostasis
cerebellum
The endocrine system releases cortisol with can make substances that increase your immunity.
Hormones.
Tissue function is regulated by hormones and the endocrine system is in charge of all the hormones in your body.
The endocrine and nervous system are related because they both work on communication and function. The nervous system provides brief, rapid control by fast moving nerve impulses. The endocrine system works the same way, but provides slow moving, longer lasting control by the way of hormones that are secreted and circulated in the blood. Both systems are connected by the hypothalamus.
