All cells in the body have a certain amount of salt in them (called osmolarity).
The liquids surrounding the cell have the same amount of salt (called isotonic).
If the liquid had more salt, water would rush out of the cells the cell would shrivel up.
If the liquid had less salt, like pure water, the water would rush into the cell and the cell would pop.
salt per say can be found in our body as sodium ions - coming from sodium chloride(table salt) this sodium ions can be lost from our body in number of ways - such as sweat -urination and stooling .
this proses is extremely important in regulation of the cellular osmotic pressure , if a situation of excess sodium occurred , cells in our body might die .
This does not pretend to be a scientific answer because I am not a scientist. So it is general and practical and based on my own experience and knowledge.
The salt in the human body is not what we commonly call "table salt" (NaCl). For this reason it is preferable to use sea salt or -- since the oceans are now so polluted -- Himalayan crystal salt. This form comes from the earth and is therefore more pure. Some health food stores even have a pink variety, which is quite delightful and even a bit sweet.
This site can be helpful for determining human salt requirements: http://www.saltinstitute.org/Issues-in-focus/Food-salt-health/Human-salt-requirements
Sodium (from sodium chloride) is indispensable for lifebecause it is important for:
- regulation of blood pressure, pH, blood volume, osmotic pressure
- transmission of nervous impulse
- correct neurons function
Reduce sodium intake in your diet, and drink a lot of water.
Through sweating. (You'll notice that sweat is VERY salty to the taste.)
For example bile salts.
No.

It is inorganic.
salt has no calories so it doesn't make you gain or lose fat
To regulate the function of thyroid gland
Salt is good for the body as it has a high iodine content. It also contains an important mineral...though to much can dehydrate your body and lead to high blood pressure.... hope this helps :) x
Salt is better than no salt because if we get 0g. of salt in our body, we'll die. Salt is a main thing for humans. But, the average human gets way too much salt in a year, so we need to have salt- but balance it out and don't have too much of it.
the storehouse of salt in the human body is
Iodine
It is inorganic.
i balive that's in the sweat
salt has no calories so it doesn't make you gain or lose fat
Salt stimulate the brain by marketing it function better. Salt also helps the body not get cramps.
No- but there IS a mineral- iodine- that the human body needs.
Throw out or eliminate from the body
Assuming the question pertains to table salt (sodium chloride), a human body contains approximately 0.15 percent by weight chlorine and 0.15 percent by weight sodium. This means that a 70-kilogram human (150 pounds) will contain 0.095 kilograms, or 95 grams, of each of the elements in table salt. The constituents of common table salt exist as separate ions in the human body, and if we could remove them and reconstitute them into table salt, they would make up about 8 tablespoons of salt for a 150 pound person.
Put a lot of salt on it, I think will do the magic.
The main type of hormone that essentially loves salt are the ones secreted by the thyroid in a human body. This can be table salt or even sea salt.
please check the salt is good quality, most people about the Chinese salt is the side effect the human body,
