The 'prophecy' was fulfilled just a few verses later in Isaiah chapter 8.
Most significantly, the Book of Isaiah never said that a child would be born to a virgin: it refers to "the young woman" and it was the young woman who had the baby a few verses later. Matthew was using the Septuagint (LXX), an early Greek translation of the Greek scriptures, and the LXX had mistranslated "the young woman" as "a virgin".
In another case, at 12:17-18, Matthew quotes Isaiah (Esias) 43:10 entirely out of context to suggest that Jesus had been prophesied.
Others see Messianic prophecies in a series of verses known as the Servant Songs (Isaiah 42:1-4, 49:1-6,50:4-11, 52:13-53:12). In these passages, God promises to choose a servant who will teach his true way to the nations. In some verses, the servant appears to be a person, in others a group, in some a real figure and in others imaginary. The only time the 'servant' is named, the reference is to Israel. It is even possible that Second Isaiah is, in places, putting himself up as the servant. Whatever Second Isaiah had in mind, it was not Jesus, who is never decribed as a servant in the New Testament, other than by Matthew himself.
We read a lots of prophesies about Messiah in the old testament and we know that they all are true. The first messianic prophesy was not made by any prophet or by any other person but the first prophecy was made by God himself. we read the first messianic prophesy in Genesis 3:15. God himself prophesized about messiah.
Loop dialogue is also called circular argument. It is logically inconsistent and calls on itself as an authority to prove itself. Such would be; The bible is true because it says in the bible that the bible is true.
No discoveries in Mesopotamia prove that the Bible is an accurate historical book, otherwise modern scholars would have to regard it as such. Most modern scholars accept accounts in the Bible as historically true only so far as they are confirmed by extra-biblical sources. They see the Bible as true in parts, but not in total.

Do you think the oracle’s prophecy to Acrisius will come true? Why or why not?
sorry, you cannot prove that something is true if it is not true!
portions of jeremiah's prophecy are similar to psalm 100. true
You create a theory. Prove the theory to be true by testing it. If it works, it is true. If it does not work, it is not true.
In the Bible, the majority come from God. The Bible states specifically that if a man is a prophet, then every prophecy must come true 100 percent. If a man had any errors or inaccuracies, then he was not considered a prophet of God.

What do you mean prove that they are true? There's no true or false - they are simply there in the sky, imaginary figures.
