An ancient grudge is something that someone has been angry about for a long time, and new mutiny would be an active rebellion against whatever it is that this person was angry about. Anger leads eventually to action.
um.... I think that you have got this mixed up. All the gods except for Poseidon favored Odysseus. Poseidon had a grudge over Odysseus because Odysseus blinded Poseidon's son Polyphemos.
Athena, Hera, and Poseidon Athena and Hera were mad at Troy because Paris had deemed Aphrodite the fairest instead of them. Poseidon has a grudge against Troy because of something Priam's ancestors had done. Zeus had sent Poseidon and Apollo to help King Laomedon of Troy build the walls of Troy. King Laomedon promised to reward them richly but then did not. Poseidon was mad and sent a sea monster, which was killed by Hercules, to attack Troy. He was still holding the grudge during the Trojan War.
He had many known enemies, but Hephaestus held a particular grudge against his parents, especially his mother, when they wouldn't accept him for his disability and lameness. Along with that, one of his wives, Aphrodite, cheated on him with his brother, Ares, and Hephaestus was mad at them as well.
Athena didn't like the Trojans because of a contest between her, Aphrodite, and Hera. Paris, a prince of Troy, had to pick the most beautiful out of the three goddesses and he picked Aphrodite. This caused Athena to hold a grudge against the Trojans.

The line "from ancient grudge break to new mutiny" means that new violence had broken out over an old quarrel. The word "grudge" means the same as it does today, something that you hold against someone. You might nowadays say, "don't bear a grudge because I beat you in the beauty contest." The grudge in this case is an ancient one, meaning that it happened a long time ago. Maybe Romeo's great-great-great grandfather stole the girlfriend of Juliet's great-great-great-grandfather. It was something like that.
There are three 'Grudge' films. * The Grudge (2004) * The Grudge 2 (2006) * The Grudge 3 (2009)
