∙ 10y agoHow a mantis digest its prey is a very complicated system. Especially for the violin mantis, since its thorax resembles a thin violin. But thanks to its skin cutting mandibles, it can cut its food to pieces so small that it will digest. Obesity is a BIG problem, since most mantids only weigh up to less than 5 oz.
