this website sucks and your wasting your time read the book for yourself you IDIOTS
The king is the antagonist in the story The Lady or the Tiger because he throw the young male into the area. But this depends if you're looking in the point of view that the young man is the protagonist.
if u asked this your a loser and i hate you
he was in l-o-v-e with the princess. first comes love, then comes your love getting eaten by tiger (in my opinion). But the answer is he fell in love with the princess :)
dynamic- nonestatic- young manflat- young man, king, princess, crowdsround- noneI think the round character in the story was the Princess, because she loves the man and has a good personality about that, but when she knows that her lover would have to marry the girls she hates, she has a different attitude about that. We see many characteristics of her personality.
In the story "The Lady, or the Tiger?" the crime the young man committed was falling in love with the king's daughter, which was forbidden as she was of a higher social status.
Dramatic irony- We know who the lady is behind the door. We also know that she had something going on with the King's daughter's lover, and we know that the daughter really hates her.
No, the character Sistine is not from the book "The Tiger Rising" by Kate DiCamillo. "The Tiger Rising" tells the story of a young boy named Rob and a caged tiger he discovers in the woods. Sistine is a character from another book or story.
Phrases like "the royal daughter" or "her young highness" could be used for variety in a story.
The fate of that young mans life is in the hands of the Princess. She knows that one door has a vicious tiger ready to kill the young man. While the other has a very beautiful woman that he must marry (by law) and then live in a set up home out side of the town. But here is the catch...that beautiful woman is the Princess's most hated enemy and to see her lover marry this woman would be quite devastating. So as the crowd cheers on for him to pick a door to seal his fate, he look into the Princess's eyes (his lover) and she sneakily gestures towards the right. From there on he smiles and without hesitation opens the door. Then "the end". The story ends without telling what happens when that door is open. Did the Princess have him open the door of the tiger so she did not have to life life knowing her most hated enemy won? Or does she look past all this spite and save her lover. This is the Suspense of "Lady or the Tiger"
apseesThe Princess told her lover which door the young lady was behind. Eventhough she didn't like the young lady behind the door and she would have to sit and watch the marriage ceremony.
The princess had difficulty deciding which door to indicate because one door held a vicious tiger that would kill her lover while the other door held the lady whom her lover would marry. The princess was torn between her love for her lover and her jealousy of the lady.
Sensitivity. In this story the Prince is looking for a sensitive Princess one that has feelings, one who can feel things and have emotions. The story of 'The Princess and the Pea' is very deep in its tale that shows the class differences between the nobility and the commoner. In the story the real princess is sensitive to the pea being under the mattress. Most of the nobility were NOTsensitive.A Prince wants a wife. Can't find a true princess out of many he visits.A young lady comes to his door and is soaking wet from head to toe.The young lady claims to be a real princess.A test is devised. She must sleep on 20 mattresses with a pea on the bottom. She feels the pea in the mattress. And is claimed to be a real princess.I think the problem in princess and pea is that the princess can't sleep well...
