I just received an A-5 recoil spring that was stated to fit the Remington model 11 12 gauge with a 5 round magazine tube . The A-5 spring was 3" longer than the original model 11 spring. Will it fit? Yes; after I shorten it.
The recoil spring for the Bersa Thunder .380 is not interchangeable with the Bersa Model 83, as they are different models with distinct designs and specifications. While both are .380 caliber pistols, the parts are not compatible due to variations in their construction and intended use. It's essential to use the correct recoil spring designed specifically for each model to ensure proper function and safety. Always refer to the manufacturer's specifications or consult a gunsmith for confirmation.
When looking at the exploded view drawings of both models it certainly looks like they would be interchangeable.
Generally, a gunsmith will fit a recoil pad to the shotgun using an oversized, standard pad. Not too difficult.
It depends on the model
No, they do not. I called the company directly and they recommended a grind to fit model.
take it to a lawnmower shop they do them all the time....its way easier that way trust me.....
No. The 11-87 has a recoil spring & tube in the stock, the 870 uses a single bolt.
Yes, but ejector spring may need modification- slight change in slot for spring.
You have to get five inch spring coil spacers to fit rims that big
You'd have to talk with the company to know the proper way to do this. In addition to changing the slide & barrel, one would also have to get the proper recoil spring in there (which balances the mass of the slide with the recoil force of the round). Additionally, one would also need to get the proper magazine as well. Will the new 380 magazine fit into a magazine well designed for a ,32 ACP?? I don't know, but the company or a competent gunsmith might,.
It's a tight fit and I wouldn't recommend it. If fired, I would imagine the barrel getting stuck on the slide which would damage the outside of the barrel. I'd also be weary of what the recoil spring would act like.
