The recoil spring for the Bersa Thunder .380 is not interchangeable with the Bersa Model 83, as they are different models with distinct designs and specifications. While both are .380 caliber pistols, the parts are not compatible due to variations in their construction and intended use. It's essential to use the correct recoil spring designed specifically for each model to ensure proper function and safety. Always refer to the manufacturer's specifications or consult a gunsmith for confirmation.
I just received an A-5 recoil spring that was stated to fit the Remington model 11 12 gauge with a 5 round magazine tube . The A-5 spring was 3" longer than the original model 11 spring. Will it fit? Yes; after I shorten it.
The Bersa 383a is no longer in production and parts are very hard to find. A value depends on what shape the weapon is in and if it needs repair. The 383a are made of steel, very reliable and much tougher than the newer Bersa Thunder model. Min value on a working pistol is 300 dollars. depends on how much someone is will to pay for it.

Possible, but, have a gunsmith check it out.
The recall was because of a wrong size recoil spring. the shot guns recoil would break the buttstock after about 100 rounds.

The Winchester model 59 is not a gas operated semi-auto, instead it uses the short recoil system and hence their is no adjustment. The model 59 should be able to shoot trap loads without any adjustment if working properly.
