quite normally you'll notice a diagram somewhere in the vicinity of the Power Steering pump. That's where mine is on my wife's Malibu. If not there then i would check towards the front of the car just under the hood .....has to be there somewhere

For a 3100 engine the firing order is 1 2 3 4 5 6....it is different for a 4 cyl but is that 123456 fireing order on the 3100 chevy malibu for the coil pack.
The 2001 Chevrolet Malibu came factory equipped with the 3100 V6 in transverse configuration. The Malibu has two hydraulic motor mounts.
You would need to call a parts house and they can answer that for you.
