Death is the result of sin and the fallen nature of the world. Death is when the body no longer can sustain life so the soul can no longer dwell there. At some timeframe (difference in Christianity) the person's spirit is then judged on whether or not they have received salvation through Jesus. There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised.

that depends if your going to the devil or heaven. If you are going to heaven your spirit will never die ,you will be in paradise. If your going to the devil your spirit will die because he will throw your spirit in to the lake of fire. now believe in god to live in paradise in heaven!
