The sun and the moon both move water on Earth by means of gravitational attraction. Since the planet Earth is a sphere, it has a location that is closest to the sun or the moon, and a location that is farthest away, and various intermediary locations. Gravitational force is strongest at the location that is closest. Water is therefore attracted toward that location. (So are rocks, but water moves much more easily.) This movement of water is called a tide. The sun and the moon both cause tides, but since the moon is tremendously closer than the sun, it causes a larger effect.
The moon revolves around the Earth and the Earth revolves around the sun. The moon does not revolve around the sun.
Yes
Earth rotates on its axis The moon orbits the Earth The sun IS a star so stars move the same way Earth takes a year to orbit the sun Moon takes a month to orbit the earth Earth takes a day to orbit around its axis The Sun does NOT move
The earth revolve around the sun
Answer 1) They all move. But the moon moves around the earth which goes around the sun which is spinning.Answer 2) Both move. The sun rotates on a fixed point. The moon rotates arounds a fixed point and also rotates around the Earth.
The earth is moving for both of tham.
Actually all moves. The sun rotates on its axis. The earth rotates on its axis and revolves around the Sun. The moon revolves around the earth
it does not because it does not orbit the moon or the earth
It doesn't. The Moon moves around Earth; both together move around the Sun.
umm... the sun does't move but the earth orbits the sun once a year and it rotates on its axis once every 24 hours this causes night and day. The moon orbits the earth i think :)
Beacuse earth has water air and Sun the moon has no air or no Sun or water only earth is a life planets the other planets are the same like moon they had no air or Sun and water
Gravity and the moon and sun
