Chemical energy is product of eactions that occur in chemical compounds. A chemical compound is consisted of atoms that are bound together. As the bonds between these atoms loosens or breaks, a chemical reaction will occur, and new compounds are created. Chemical energy is used adn can be observed every day. An example of chemical energy is the sun rays beaming on earth and sendind its heat to earth. This is a chemical reaction taking place that produces chemical energy in the form of heat.
Geothermal energy is the type of energy that comes from the heat that is within the earth. Chemical energy on the other hand refers to the potential energy of a chemical substance to undergo a chemical reaction.
