water is a conductor of electricity so when a live wire is placed into water the current can spread out through the water.
Yes, but also without water.
because if the devices touch the water then it can ruin the electronic and it can shock you.
it would eventually shock the fish and kill them
Cut the stems on a slant put them in water but not cold water because then they will die from shock. A cool water or even warm water is fine. Then put an aspirin in the water.
Although one bag of shock does treat usually 10,00 gallons, that is assuming a clear pool to start with. Since you had an algae infestation, more shock will be required. A simple rule of thumb is when treating problem water to double or even triple shock the pool. Simply put, there wasn't enough shock there to finish the job. Test your water for chorine. Most shocks are chlorine based. If your chlorine is low or zero, it will confirm the need for more shock.
well i haven't done that but when i clean out my tank i put my fish in a clear glass cup with water.
yes they can, but only in rare occasions but just DON'T DO IT!!!!
Horses are not suppose to drink water after being ridden it could put there bodies in shock.
Put a cutting blade on it and it shouldn't have water in it when you cut because of the possibility of shock.
Backwash first then shock. If you shock and then backwash you will be throwing away the shock you just put.
1/2 a bag OS shock
