Simple idea actually. Trade of different countries spreads culture buy trading different foods. Say China was to trade with Israel. Israel would be given some Chinese food/clothes/decorations/products/etc. China would probably not trade with the Jewish people because of their Theocracy, but it was an idea. See, trading different products will result in companies selling the products.
