How does windmill help us?

the wind turns the windmill blades, which turn an electrical generator (ac or dc) which makes electricity. normally power stations turn generators with steam made by boiling water with coal or gas or wood or oil etc. - these fuels are used up when burnt and cause pollution. normal fuel is expensive, difficult to get in bulk and are running out. Wind does not create pollution (although making windmills does) and does not run out
