Unless your computer has a tuner board, the only TV you can watch is the same internet TV you can watch without MCE. Where MCE shines is if you have a TV tuner in the computer. Then you can use the computer to watch and record TV. The computer can be used as a DVR. The TV guide provided with MCE is excellent and time shift recording is very easy to set-up.
