The second law of thermodynamics forbids a 100%-efficient solar cell. The result is, for a system with sunlight concentration the maximum efficiency is ~85%, and for a system that does not track the sun, the maximum efficiency is ~55%.
It is efficient because otherwise it is lost energy and is meant to be used as the light extends to us and it is a dumb idea not to use it. Its like water, its there to use or to not use. It is better off used. (I am not completely right here because i am a bit foggy on this, but i would rather see questions answered right, not with "inapplicable" answers.)
Yes, solar energy is efficient compared to other sources of energy
a solar thermal is an energy efficient way of getting energy
You can be energy efficient by...using recycling binsuse solar panelsplant trees
the animal is an herbivore they live by the solar energy
Nuclear Energy is able to produce a constant ammount of energy at all times where as solar energy does not.
Sunny Place
solar power with a backup generator
herbivores
due to the lack of atmosphere blocking the solar rays.
Solar panels are becoming cheaper and more efficient.
depends on how you look at it solar energy is more highly developed but hydro electric is more efficient when it is used
It is very inefficient. The best and most expensive systems are only about 10% efficient.
