It can happen from conception to the very end so to speak. But later on it's a stillbirth.

Is it possible to miscarry will being unaware of pregnancy?

yes it is possible. signs of a possibe miscarriage is exxcessive eating, drinking, an early period with excessive bleedig. I recommend you contact a doctor because there is a possibility that there still might be some fetal tissue that a doctor may have to get out. This all depends on how far you were but if you dont think you were pregnant and ave a miscarriage I doubt you were that far along your pregnancy. yes it is possible. signs of a possibe miscarriage is exxcessive eating, drinking, an early period with excessive bleedig. Will a pregnancy test show negative if you miscarried?

Pregnancy tests simply "look" for the presence of a hormone that is present when a pregnancy has occurred. After a miscarriage, a pregnancy test may remain positive for a while until all of that hormone has disappeared below the level the test needs to be positive. A blood (serum) pregnancy test (that you can obtain at a physician's office) can tell about how far along a pregnancy is, and this can be compared to how far along the person should be; the test results will drop in number over time if a miscarriage occurs until it reaches 0. How long it takes the hormone to leave the system is highly variable from several days to several weeks. Hope this helps! Dr. B.

How long after a complete miscarriage can you get a true hcg reading?

not sure wut u mean by tru, but if u mean a positive result indicating a second pregnancy than about a month after the miscarriage. one the hcg has dropped from the miscarriage u can ovulate (which may take 3 or 4 weeks, depending how far along u were) and 2 weeks after taht u can test for a new pregnancy.

Is it common to show a negative sign on a pregnancy test only 2 days after a miscarriage?

Yes. The actual passing of the miscarriage is the last part of the process. The pregnancy may actually have ended days before and the hormones associated it will have been falling since. Actually, this is incorrect. The final part of the miscarriage is for the HCG level to return to zero. Now, it all depends how far along you were in your pregnancy of course. If very early, then what you experienced could be normal.
