We're right in the middle of it. And so is everything else in the universe.
As far as we know, it happened only once.
Yes. By far.
Doppler shift shows that galaxies are moving away from each other at rates that depend on how far apart they are. According to the Big Bang Theory, the universe began with an enormous explosion. Then, the entire universe began to expand everywhere at the same time. The doppler shift shows that galaxies are moving away from each other at rates that depend on how far apart they are.
The main evidence for the Big Bang is the expansion of the Universe, as seen from the Doppler effect. That is, light from other stars or galaxies changes color depending on the relative velocity to Earth; it turns out that all far-away galaxies are receding from us.
It has.
Observations through telescopes showed that nearly all far away galaxies are moving away from us, showing that the universe is expanding. Scientists also found microwaves called cosmic background radiation, which is believed to be leftover from the initial flash of the big bang. This evidence along with other evidence points to the universe emerging from a single point.
Theories of the universe are cosmologies. There are three main theories concerning our universe. These are the big bang theory, the steady state theory, and the oscillating universe theory. Each of these attempts to account for the observed expansion of the universe. So far the big bang theory is far and away the strongest of these three. If there was a big bang, there should be microwave background radiation. This radiation has been observed, and the age of the universe calculated to 13.7 billion years.'What are the theories of the universe' in Spanish = 'Cuales son las teorias del universo?'
Good question. If you get the answer, notify those folk in Stockholm. The states of matter and energy in the Big bang are so far away from our knowledge that the physics and math are beyond our ken. [It has been said that just before the big Bang there was a sense of something about to happen.] Some cosmologies suggest a Big Inflation, followed by a Big Collapse in a cyclic fashion. Fertile fields for the sci-fi writers, along with monopoles and FTL speeds.
as far as i know it is out on the 26th March 2010
Scientists engage in research to provide evidence to support the hypotheses of the Big Bang Theory. Edwin Hubble, using the Hubble telescope, is credited with the discovery that the distances to far away galaxies were generally proportional to their redshifts (as in the doppler effect); an idea which was originally predicted by Lemaître in 1927. Hubble's observation was taken to indicate that all very distant galaxies and clusters have an apparent velocity directly away from our vantage point: the farther away, the higher the apparent velocity. Other supportive evidence for the big bang Theory - Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation has been discovered and it is suggested that this has been left over from the Big Bang and galactic clusters are still moving away from each other at an ever increasing acceleration.

They did attend as far as i know.
