The Toyota Camry and Corolla are by far the most I have seen inside the state of Virginia but it mostly depends on where you live.
2014 model should be under warranty. Any transmission related issues must be addressed to Toyota dealer. You should not have to pay anything as far as the issues are real.
I just checked mine yesterday and it is under the engine hood on the driver' s side on the far end (i.e., closer to the winshield)

Most likely it will fit as far as the model is the same (both should be I4 or V6). But it gets a little more tricky with different production ares. You might run in complications if one of cars is Japan made and another one North American. Also, if you get different production ares, you will have install appropriate ECU.
