It would depend greatly on how your driving it, highway/in town. But if you care to now for your own personal preference, carry a jerry can with some extra gas in it. Then if you happen to depend on that little bit of extra gas, you'll know about how far it can carry you.
As far as I can tell, the Alero's really didn't change much until 2002
these lights came on my 2000 alero and I needed to replace the wheel hub assembly. So far I have replaced 4 of them. I think its a defect in the car
should be on the headlight control, probably turned too far to left, turn slightly right and light should go off

The 2002 Hyundai Sonata has a gas light that comes on when the gas is low. After the gas light comes on the car can travel 25 to 30 miles.

pull two clips and the entire lens will come out the TS has its own socket that usually burns out and needs to be replaced so far only available at a dreler for about $27

Check your headlight knob, if it is turned too far, it will leave the dome lights on. Just back if off, you'll feel the click when you turn the knob. If that is not it, then see a certified mechanic.
