The Four Corners has the states Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. The monument is located in the desert on the Navajo Indian Reservation. On the Four Corners it says IN FREEDOM UNDER GOD FOUR STATES HERE MEET. Then in the middle there is a bronze disk that has all the four states. Above the word Utah and Colorado it says U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR. Below the words Arizona and New Mexico it says 1992 CADASTRAL SURVEY BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT. This permanent marker is exactly on the four states. The first permanent marker at the point was placed in 1912. The Four Corners Monument was first surveyed by the US Government Surveyors in 1868. Surveys followed of New Mexico's west border and Utah's east boundary in 1878. The northern of Arizona was surveyed in 1901. This is a place where you can put each of hands and feet in four states at once. The Four Corners Monument has a per person admission fee.
