Queen Street station, which is located next door. Queen Street serves trains to the north of Glasgow, but trains to the south of Glasgow go to Central station, so if you end up there you'll have to walk or catch the Subway. Trains from Edinburgh can go to either station.

You could get a train to Glasgow and from there, get a shuttle bus to Glasgow Airport, which is quite close to the city.ANS 2 - Actually the quickest way by far is to simply drive from Edinburgh to Glasgow Airport along the M8 -about an hour.
Glasgow International Airport does not have a train station. To make this journey you would have to travel into Glasgow City Centre, the easiest way to do this would be to take the shuttle bus to Buchanan Bus Station. From Buchanan Bus Station, it is around a ten minute walk to Queen Street Station where a train to Edinburgh will take around an hour, depending on the route.
5 minutes walk. When you exit Central Station through the main entrace, turn to your right and continue until you are in front of borders book shop on Buchanan Street. Turn left and walk up Buchanan Street until you come to New Look and turn right immediately. Queen Street station will be to your left hand side about 50m further down the road.
