to lose it in the most healthy way and to make sure you don't instantly gain it back, it will take 6-12 months.

Reason for this is the body needs to adjust to your new diet (diet being the new way you eat, don't go on a diet for little bit, and then once you lost the weight quit it, you WILL immediately gain you weight back if you don't maintain that healthy diet)

It would not be healthy. If might be possible to achieve, with great effort, if you were very overweight (and therefore had a lot of weight to lose) and you were taking part in something like the Biggest Loser TV show where you would have expert help and medical supervision.

bodies metabolism is probably the #1 factor. thyroid problems are another biological factor. BUT, the basic way is by eating better, and eating less. along with aerobic exercises. this is the only diet that works, when used in combination, you'll see affects withing weeks and if you stick with it , the two basics,(described above), you will keep the weight off. age is another major factor. the older you get ,the harder it is. thus, the question of how long is to vague. needs more detail for a time factor...but if you do as described, you Will, repeat will lose weight and keep it off........
