You have to heat them with a torch to melt the stuff holding them in,but don,t stand in front of them as if you heat them too fast or too much they might blow the caps off.
The IAC (Idle air control) valve is bad and needs to be replaced. Its about $200 parts and labor.

Check the front blinker bulb to see if it is indeed flashing when it is turned on...In my 2004 Malibu, fast flashing indicates that a front blinker bulb has burned out.
